We are really struggling this morning. Gabs is in a lot of pain and her gut is still not working. Her fever is up to almost 104 and we have yet to hear any ideas for our next plan of action. Today is a full week of no food for Gabs and she has started to beg for water which is completely heartbreaking. I'm reaching my limit of calm and am starting to feel a little hopeless.
I've been reading the journal and following Gabrielle's fight with cancer through my friend Amy. My prayers are not only with her, but all of you as well.

My prayers are with you all. I have friends who just went through a similar experience with their 6 month old (at diagnosis) granddaughter. Reagan went through a cycle of chemo after surgery. She completed the chemo and the family has just recently been told that her tests came back "all clear." Praise the Lord! I pray the same and more for Gabrielle... and peace and hope for you all as you wait. May the Comforter be near your heart.

May God renew you body and spirit. May you be filled to overflowing with faith, hope, peace, and even joy. May you find refuge in Him to persevere.
"For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but as spirit of power, of love and a sound mind."
- 2 Tim. 1:7
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
- Romans 15:13
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against ...the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
-Eph 10-12
Daniel persisted in prayer until an Angel arrived with a response..."Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twentyone days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia." ... Daniel said, "My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe." Again the angel touched him and renewed his strength and said, "Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed. Peace! Be stong now; be strong."
-Daniel 10:12-19

I am so sorry to hear all that you have had to endure and go through. The "hurry-up and wait" game is so hard! My heart and prayers go out to you all. Please know you all and the doctors and nurses who are caring for Gabby are in my prayers. Praying God would continue to give you His Strength, Comfort, and His Peace for each minute of every day (sometimes I know it's each second of every minute!)
Praying for you all,
Emily Millward
